Watching the younger generation get hate is a horrible feeling
My entire life it's been nothing but "my generation killed XYZ thing" (napkins, cruises, libraries, small talk, etc) and I got used to it. Hated it, but whatever.
I just saw an article that said, "Gen Z is killing office small talk." All the comments were blaming Gen X and Millennials and saying we suck and hate Gen Z.
I don't hate Gen Z. I don't hate Gen Alpha. I fucking empathize with them so hard.
Why do they have to pit us against each other?
EDIT: I forgot I meant to mention that while I was in my graduate program (MBA) we took a class that required us to read some old news articles from the 50s/60s/70s. I distinctly remember one of them being written by the Silent Generation and it said, about Boomers, "[they are] privileged, narcissistic, entitled, spoiled, job hopping Trophy Kids" and also "irresponsible, unreliable, unrealistic, rude, selfish."
