Did anyone else just kinda stop watching TV?

I watched all the same TV as everyone else back in the day. Saturday morning were cartoons from the moment the farm report was finished until noon. After school until my parents insisted it was dinner time... you know, the usual amount of TV.

But somewhere along the way I just stopped carring about TV. There was a thread about when you stopped keeping up with new Simpsons episodes and I realized that I never intentionally stopped watching, I just stopped caring.

I've never had cable in my adult life. I've never had Netflix or a paid TV streaming service. I still watch a movie once in a while, but usually if its something my wife or kids have put on.

I feel a bit out of touch with watercolor talk because I don't watch any of the series that people tend to talk about.

I never said "I'm going to quit watching TV", but it just kinda happened and it feels like all the xennial peers I have are very much still binging complete series over a weekend.

Has anyone else just "grown out" of TV?
