iOS and iPadOS Zoom Camera Switching

I have had this issue for a long time. On iOS or iPadOS the camera will be at one aspect ratio, and zoom level. Then after talking for a couple minutes, it goes wider. This can cause issues where the neutral background I have setup no longer fills the screen.

I have been unable to find threads on this, or settings to fix it. It often is only an issue when a meeting is larger, not small family gatherings.

Does anyone have any tips?
