The IC’s Treatment of Nesta

Okay- I just began ACOSF. Whether or not I like it is in the air, but we’re off to a better spot than anticipated.

How do we feel about the IC’s treatment of Nesta?

I know Nesta is considered an unreliable narrator, but the intervention at the start was really harsh. Her being called an embarrassment. Feyre wouldn’t let her see Elain really. Feyre said she needed to control her. Rhys was also harsh. They’re burning down her apartment building.

Why does Rhys forgive Elain but not Nesta? “Elain is Elain”

Why did Feyre not try as hard for Nesta like Rhys tried for her?

How is Feysand any better than Tamlin right now? And the lie about Nesta being free to wander Velaris when she would have to climb 10k steps.

Why don’t they realize her dad died in front of her, she took out King H., cared for Elain when no one else did, and even searched for Feyre after Tamlin took her?

To be fair, I know Nesta is a piece of work and is mean and aggressive. There’s only so much you can do. But I’m struggling here.

Just not liking how SJM wrote this plot I guess… Hoping in the next book Feysand is portrayed better.
