Future ACOTAR book theory

Spoilers - I have a theory. Feyre and Rhysand’s son Nyx gets kidnapped. His unique and unknown latent powers get discovered.

A war over Feyre and Rhysand’s child would ensue. Their child would undoubtedly be incredibly powerful and symbolic—not just to the Night Court, but to all of Prythian—making them a prime target for enemies who want to tip the balance of power.

Feyre and Rhys unleash hell. We know they’re both unstoppable when protecting the ones they love, but a threat to their child would take it to a whole new level. Imagine Rhys summoning and showing his full might as High Lord of the Night Court or Feyre using her powers as High Lady in ways we’ve never seen before to fight for their son.

Inner circle would go on high alert. Every member of the inner circle would have a role, from Azriel tracking the kidnappers to Amren bringing ancient knowledge into play. Nesta and Cassian could have their own stakes in protecting their family, adding layers of emotion.

A war over the child might force Feyre and Rhys to seek help from unlikely allies—or fight courts they once trusted. Maybe a High Lord they once saw as a friend betrays them for power. Using the baby as a conduit for something since Nyx would arguably be the most powerful heir in history given his parents’ unprecedented powers. Maybe some ancient forces or gods tied to the child’s power could awaken.

I’m hoping for a HEA of course. And maybe an epilogue a thousand years later offering a perspective from Nyx remembering his brave parents and accepting his destiny as High Lord and ruling in their honor after they had a long and happy loving life together for a thousand years and passed the torch to their son when they both died together in battle thousands of years later or something like that.

I wish this was the next book.
