What does your average day look like?

I am a single mom taking the class on AdjusterPro to get my IA license. I’ve already spent the money and committed to this. I’m about 30% of the way done with the Texas All Lines class, so I’m not looking to be talked out of the profession. I work at a call center in dispatch and billing, and make $19/hour. It is miserable being worked to exhaustion and still not making enough for my kids and I to survive on. I want a staff job so I can reliably be home with them in the evenings/weekends. I’m curious about the actual day-to-day though. Do you work remotely or in an office? What time are you “done” with work most days? How busy would you say you are on a scale of 1-10?
