So... EoS soon?

Don't mean to doompost here. Just wanted to point out something about the Zohra story that just came out and how it connects to the overall lore (as well as some other worrying pointers I've noticed).

So for those unaware yet, Zohra is the newest hero, a fusion of Morael and Audrae (yeah, apparently we're doing fusions now), and her lore is... honestly baffling. Of course, it has the classic retcons such as saying Morael and Audrae never got along and even saying Morael tried to kill everyone in Zohra Nebula's solar system because somehow that's better than letting them die to the Void? But that's not even what I mean now. Instead, with this story, all of Esperia's story is just... done. The factions all hold hands and work together now, one must wonder why are they even still separate factions since we already know they're not separated by race and apparently they just no longer have any conflict anymore. Even Thoran is now a good guy and nobody minds working with the Graveborn. Actually, Esperia reached a level of unity never before seen in the entirety of the cosmos. Secondly, all the Hypogeans launched one all-out attack, and got absolutely defeated. This even includes a personal emissary of Lutos, one of the primary forces of the whole universe. Speaking of, apparently Dura's prophecies now have more power and carry more weight than those of one of the primary powers of the cosmos as Lutos prophecised all things would eventually be devoured by the Void. Instead, Morael and Audrae, who aren't even gods anymore, mind you, just said "Nuh-uh!" and all is now solved and safe.

Oh, and all the Celestials are totally okay with this new unity even though last time Esperia had a society this united, it scared them so much they sneakily introduced a whole new branch of magic and caused a civil war among mortals because they were so afraid of losing their authority.

So like, what is there left to do in Esperia? All the meaningful conflict is gone just like that, all the Hypogeans are defeated, and of course, Draconis are the whole reason because we couldn't have a story these days without propping up the Draconis whose very existence is also one massive retcon.

As for the other pointers I've mentioned, there really are a few and I'm far from the first pointing them out. Firstly, the monetization is getting more and more aggressive. Then we also have the fact that Lilith is focusing way more on Journey and Companions than Arena. Companions is now the default register server in the AFKA app, and Journey has been getting shoved literally everywhere at the expense of Arena ever since it launched. All of that makes me believe that the game is probably on its last leg. I guess it's a miracle it's been around for this long, many gacha games don't live to see their third birthday, but it's still sad to me that this is where things have got to.

And all this before we ever got playable Ansiel to boot.
