Should I take 17 hours as a freshman?

I am a freshman in my second semester. I want to change my major to public health, my first semester was terrible and for various reasons I only managed to get 6 credit hours. I know I need to have 30 hours by the end of my freshman year, so I was thinking of taking 17 hours this semester, I would be taking Bio 111, Chem 119, PBSI-107, NUTR-202, and FILM-299. I know they're manageable classes but I still would like to get some advice because I can't mess this semester up. The other alternative would be taking 14 or 15 hours this semester and taking 10 hours during the summer instead of 7.
