AI art isn't political

I know AI artists who are about as left-wing as you can get. I know AI artists who are solidly right-wing. I'm a centrist and I work with AI art all the time.

There's no part of the political spectrum that is wed to using any particular tool to make art, though art tends, overall, to be engaged in more by those on the left than the right, regardless of tool preference.

You don't have to be American to use AI tools. You don't have to be rich or poor or man or woman or old or young.

Any fool can pick up a camera and snap some quick pictures. Any full can prompt an AI and uncritically accept the result of a prompt-and-pray generation.

An artist with decades of experience can pick up AI tools and incorporate them into their workflow. Someone who started learning with AI tools can go on to become a traditional media artist.

There are no lines in the sand, and anyone who tells you that there are is selling something.
