Maybe the current situation will remain the same for a long time - with pro-AI people generating lots of images, and anti-AI people complaining about it

Is there anything that's actually going to shift the needle one way or the other? This year? 5 years? 10 years?

Pro-AI (like myself) just want to not be harassed for using AI.
Anti-AI want AI-art gone and no one to use it.

I don't see any way either side gets what they want any time soon.
