Is this enough to continue with med school?

When i chose medicine, i chose it because i wanted the ability to heal people, to be rewarded for it in the akhirah and to be able to diagnose sicknesses. My family also overlook symptoms a lot and refuse to go to doctors, I'd like to be able to tell them when something is serious, cure them or do voluntary work as a doctor. I might not work as one especially with the state of doctors in this country but i don't know if these reasons are enough to push through 7 years when i could be doing something easier and have more of a life. I'm really confused, what would you advise for me? Especially for people who are studying med school or have completed it.
