more insane behavior from alo
if you do a charge back plz know they’re going to try to rob you after lol, partially kidding.
i recently did a charge back bc 195$ of items was lost/damaged in transit, per their own report. they said they could reship mid february bc of out of stock items. i asked for a refund instead as i didn’t want to continue to wait, never heard back. 3 weeks of trying to get in touch w customer service with no luck. so i did a charge back and my bank refunded me.
fast fwd today and i went in store to return some leggings i purchased with my credit card but also part of a gift card. i was refunded and given a refund receipt but then realized on the app it said “refund declined”. the manager in store said it might be a glitch and to wait a few days.
i spoke with the text number (found in here) customer service who said since i did a charge back they can’t “complete any further transactions” for me. i said but you kept my item and provided a receipt saying it was refunded. why wouldn’t they just say in store they can’t refund me?? he’s like sorry unless you reverse the charge back we can’t look into this for you and the refund isn’t valid.
so now the $99 i was refunded, with a receipt as proof, is never going to post. and they have the leggings in their possession.
