Looking for animes to watch/ advice needed!
Hello everyone! I hope you have a nice year's final either with animes or other experiences! I often read here but now i need a little help and/ or suggestions. I really like a lot of anime genres and have watched a lot of anime series/ movies. (In comparison i'm still casual though i think). Most were recommendations or from top lists etc. Slowly but steadily i "run out of ammo" 😅 so i wanted to ask you which animes could i possibly watch?
I really like "shorter-middle length" quality animes not animes which take ages like naruto etc. With 200+ episodes. I especially like "strong" characters and or development, so i mean like a very thoughtfull worked character, or someone with a depth of charisma etc. (The contrary of superficial) but that's not an exclusion criteria. I also like thoughtful animes or exciting plots (doesn't matter if thriller, dramedy, action...). But i show a "soft ranking" below of the animes i watched and how likeable they were to me. Based on my list below: do you have any in mind? Thank you and have a nice week/ weekend!!🥰

- tokyo ghoul
- steins;gate
- death parade

- plastic memories
- deathnote
- samurai champloo
- violet evergarden
- psycho pass
- mirai nikki
- your lie in april

Animes i watched and appreciated most of it:

- corpse party
- horimiya
- Kimini todoke
- Yu-gi-oh!
- itazura na kiss
- assassination classroom
- attack on titan
- Food wars
- goblin slayer
- angel beats
Animes i watched and were okay. I liked some parts/some were not that interesting to me:
- btooom
- flowers of evil (aku no hana)
- highschool DxD (the focus on the nudity stuff was way too strong for my taste)
Animes i watched and disliked mostly (like i said all just by personal preference, don't wanna make someone's fav series bad or start a flame):
- no game no life (the connection between fantasy setting "wannabe"- smartass and the obvious ecchi flirty stuff (that wasn't acknoledged within the plot) weirded me out a bit/made the whole thing a bit overstacked and boring)
- king's game (nice plot idea but unnatural characters, superficial execution. Didn't like it
- shuumatsu nani shitemasu ka? /worldend (not my cup of tea, imo grey wall MC, poor dialogue, not interesting plot)
Animes i stopped watching because either i didn't appreciate content after a,while or i liked it but had too many seasons for my taste/ got bored after a while or season xy:
- black butler (i liked the first season a lot, later it became too repititive plotwise imo so i stopped watching)
- parasyte: the maxim (the mixture of plot and narrative line didn't affect me)
- school-live! (Currently watching but i like it so far)
- one piece (best childhood anime, watched a lot of it but got bored eventually due to filler episodes)
- bakemonogatari (really appreciated the first 2 seasons or something, eventually got bored later idk why, probably years ago i had a bigger problem with ova animes + subs).
- akame ga kill! (I Liked the introduction and setting, the plot lost me at some point)
- charlotte
