insane weird/scary/vivid dreams when forgetting to take my antidepressants
I am on a combo of wellbutrin 150mgs and celexa 40mgs for depression and OCD. The past few days I've been on a trip and lucky me I realized as soon as I unpacked that I forgot my meds.
It's been 3 days so far without them and every dream I have is the most terrifying, stress inducing dream ever. It's not even just one dream either, it's like back to back nightmare after nightmare. Nightmares where I'm lost and hurt and can't find help, where my husband is asking for a divorce or cheating on me, where my friends no longer like me anymore, where my family members have gone missing or died in a tragic scenario, and then also just weird ones where zero things make sense at all, just like intense fever dreams.
I swear I'll have like 10-15 mini nightmares in a night and then wake up actually fully exhausted, drained, and like scared/jittery from the night before. It's particularly worse because I get so exhausted/dehydrated from walking around all day on vacation that I think that's contributing to the intense dreams as well.
I'm unsure what to do. My friends are telling me I should check into a hospital or something to try and get a doc here to prescribe me something temporarily (we are in France), but in the meantime I am having a hard time coping with my worst fears being presented to me in rapid succession every night. Any advice??
