How to anti-natalists counter the struggles of living people?
This is something I don't see talked about. Anti natalism is with the goal of preventing the suffering but yet do they not take into account current lives??
Because here is the fact; having no kids means nothing for the future and such a thing would cripple economy, workforce, and life/societal structures we held for a long long time. This would disrupt everything and cause chaos. Society would delve into a period of struggle and hardships. It'd be full of suffering to the people living now at the expense of not having kids. This is in the condition we all follow anti natalism philosophy.
Is this an opportunity cost that's worth it? How do you justify this suffering, as it affects men, women, children, and everyone you know alike in a negative way? Hopefully this isn't posted a lot here, I just thought about it when pondering the idea. Thanks for all inputs and answers.
