How do I know if my ants are hibernating?
I hibernated my ants before but currently I have a messor colony and this guys are a little different. They hibernate during higher temperatures than most species. I’m keeping them at 15C, but they don’t seem to be hibernating. Now other species that I hibernate closer to 0-5C are motionless during hibernation. So is it maybe normal for this ants to still kind of move around more than other species because they hibernate in hotter climate? Or should all ants be “frozen in place”. Also they’re very paranoid so I can’t know their normal behavior when they aren’t stressed out from vibrations.
