New phone heating

I recently got a new iPhone 15, only about 3 weeks ago. My old 14 never used to do this, but my 15 gets hot every single time I charge it (it gets warm enough where I am scared to charge it more and just take the charger out no matter the percentage) and I was just wondering if that’s an early sign of inside damage (even though I haven’t dropped it or hit it or anything)?? Is this happening to anyone else? Is it normal? Or should I request a new phone? However could it be a sign that I should get another charger? I currently use the same charger for my M2 MacBook Air and my iPhone 15. I could be overreacting, was just wanting to see if anyone else has this problem
