Cheap Substitute for Aeroshell 33 Grease?

My new upper is gonna be coming in soon, and my cheap ass was wondering what I should use to lube the barrel nut with. I've got tons of case lube sitting around, could this perhaps work? It doesn't have graphite in it, so that doesn't disqualify it.
