Do you cook at home?

Why is everyone complaining about the cost of living crisis in Singapore when I spent $6 on free range eggs and white bread. Nets me 4 wonderful egg mayo sandwich prepared the night before, costing about $1.50 each which is cheaper than the $2.20 egg mayo I used to buy at Raffles Place. Costs can go even lower if I use normal eggs!
