Neighborhood near Christie station or sherbourne station?

Hi! I’ll be in Toronto for four months starting for an internship and I am currently on the lookout for a place. I have two options and I’m a bit conflicted.

Option 1: 565 Sherbourne st. It’s $900 a month, close sherbourne station. I’ve read some mixed review about the area so wasn’t too sold.

Option 2: Clinton Street & Harbord Street. It’s $1,100 a month, close to Christie station. Seems like a more quieter residential area.

So the dilemma is between these two. For context I’ve lived in downtown Cambridge and have seen a fair bit of questionable characters. I’m wondering whether the safety concern is really that bad near sherbourne and bloor that it is worth spending an extra 200 on rent to live near Christie station. Saving 200 could cover a fair amount of my grocery budget but also safety is just as important.
