Getting a driver's license in TO as a complete beginner

For a COMPLETE beginner, how many HOURS of driving would it take me to pass G2 test? Since I don't own a car I need to know what driving lessons package I would need to sign up for.

Is recommended to pay money and complete the MTO course to get the G2 quicker?
