How to be knowledge af?

Basically the title,we see guys like trivikram or people close to that range whose words carry wisdom,a sense of intellect,and obviously people like that must've read lotnof books but it's just not books right?there should be something else,that drive for them to be the smartest in the room,that drive to understand most philosophies in life...the reason why I'm asking this is,if u want me to start a Convo,i can't go anything beyond movies,cricket,academics...i don't wanna restrict myself to be average.
