Old farmhouse

So, I THINK I have an old well connected to the house but no clue. The only evidence I have is melting snow in a perfect snow outside (that's a whole different story) and then there's this.

Someone said it could be an old line to a well OR it could be lined to an old oil reservoir or gas??? I don't have a clue.

Please DO NOT send me back into the basement for more pictures. 😅 I have screamed too many times from spiders and my own shadow trying to put this together. But I will do it to get an answer
