befriending people of different religions

hey there gay bros, I have a dilemma I had on my mind for quite a while now and I wanna share with you.

I am a 24 year old from Israel, and I am also jewish and queer, I also tolerated people who are diffrent then me, i always though that respecting people of diffrent religions is important and always wanted to befriend people from other religions, but the experiences i got from people of other religions have left me questioning what to do.

the first friendship I had with a christian was online with a trans guy, lasted about 4 years it started off strong, but ended pretty sadly, he began to be religious in the last couple of months, and I asked him if he though i was going to hell because I was jewish and he said yes, after like 2 and a half weeks he cut me off out of the blue, it really broke my heart.

another relationship I had which went south was with a muslim guy from egypt, i always kinda knew he saw homosexuality as bad, but today he told me he though it should be outlawd in arab countries.

I might be jewish but I'm not religious, i have met some other cultural christians and muslims in Israel but the christians arent religious here so I'm not worried about here, but when it comes to the muslims and the religious christians, im afraid to bring up what they think about it.

basically, I just dont wanna have friends that think I'm going to hell, i once thought that wasnt hard but now i worry that it actually might be harder then I thought, for refrence from what i understand jews dont believe in hell, so even if they think its a sin they dont think ill be punished for eternity for it and sane people here dont want me to be arrested anyway.

I also wanna live in other european countries and perhaps the states, but I wanna know what people believe, what percenage there is like super religious? and do the religious people there think gays and non christians/muslims go to hell? I dont know hoe comfortable I'll be in a society that might accept me but think im going to hell.

I know many if you guys live in these countries, so i rally on your input heavily, thanks
