Spanish people who left Spain do you miss Spanish weekends?

The Spanish finde is the best, there's nothing like tapear or going out for cañas, not worrying about coming home as streets always filled with people, very social atmosphere and safe all the time. Not to mention cheaper, a good night out only costs €60-90, with a nice dinner. People invite you, it's very easy to get used to this informal, hospitable aspect of the culture.

Long lunches with family and friends at home or in a pueblo. Cocido on a Sunday etc.

It's not common in other countries. I feel so relaxed at the weekend, I actually enjoy it so much more. In other countries I don't think there's much opportunity to enjoy the lifestyle as much as Spain.

If you've left Spain, do you miss this part of the lifestyle? I understand if it's not sustainable as the working week is quite different but weekends are simply unbeatable in Spain. Access to nature and locations, you can visit Portugal or France, especially on a "long weekend" (another thing I hadn't experienced until moving here)

Where did you move and what do your weekends look like? What do you do for fun at the weekend that's not common in Spain/no chance of doing in Spain?

Obviously very different in other countries, how did you adjust from living weekends in Spain in the Spanish way to doing something different in another country's culture?

Other countries probably don't have many puentes too.. I guess it depends on what kind of lifestyle you prefer, if it's comparable to Spain. Perhaps you found a better one?
