Health Insurance in Switzerland

What do you think of the health insurance system in Switzerland? Probably was discussed before, especially with the recent referendum, but in the light of recent events, made me wonder if it has any effect here as well.

While I think the medical services here are generally good to great, I think the insurance system is nooot. And has gotten so much more expensive. I would think that at least it should be progressive and dependent of the individual income, and start somewhere around 50-100 per month for the 300-500 franchise (e.g. if you earn 60k). And get to 600-700+ for the higher earners (e.g. for the ones with 200k+ per year.)

Do you avoid getting medical attention when you think is not urgent becaus of the costs? Health is a basic human right...
