Should I buy this RE55?

Long story short I came across this Electro-Voice RE55 mic from a company I was helping out the other day and tested it myself there, works perfectly and is a tad scratched up but otherwise mint. They're a live events company and having 1 single EV RE55 is kind of pointless for them, and the tech told me I could buy it off them for probably an insane deal. The catch is, I CAN'T FIND ANY FUCKING DEMOS OF THIS MIC ANYWHERE!!!!! Does anyone know of any recordings of any sort done with an RE55? I don't care if it's music, an old broadcast, etc. The only reference I have for this mic was me testing it myself on my own voice in the middle of a huge warehouse plugged into a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 that was hooked up into a Mackie SRM150. I'd love to hear how it sounds on guitar amps and drum rooms specifically since that's what my research points me towards as modern day uses for it. Or even better, if any of you have used it or own one what are your thoughts? EDIT: don’t link me the Cole Picks SoundCloud demo please, I want more sources than just what’s in that demo
