A sense of humour (a sense at least)
More and more I’m seeing less and less people who like jokes. More and more are getting offended and less and less are showing humility. So how far is TOO far of a joke for you to laugh? I’m not only talking about strangers making jokes, I’m also talking about friends and family that tease, laugh, say some “sick burns” (for those you don’t understand, a “sick burn” is a funny insult) and banter.
Practice some humbleness, let go and join in on the funny side of life. Laugh at yourself, chuckle at your own misfortune and learn some tolerance.
Do you consider your self to be quite tolerable of jokes? What do you consider “too far”?
As for myself, I love a good sense of humour. Dark or light hearted, teasing or funny insults, I find that someone who can laugh at themselves and at life are the wisest and the highest or emotional IQ’s.
Here’s a favourite insult I’ve had “Your IQ is the same number as Alaskan room temperature”.
