In your opinion, what makes someone a good instructor?

Likewise, what do you consider to be a weak instructor?

I started going to Barry’s this month and have been loving it so far. The workouts have been challenging for me as someone who’s getting back into fitness after several years. I’m currently trying out different instructors and wanted to know what I should look out for. And I’m open to any recommendations people might have! Especially at the E64th & E86th St locations, but can also periodically drop by the Noho, PAS, and Chelsea locations too.
