Game says Save file corrupted

I just upadted 2042 after not playing for a month and after I got the update it says that my saves are corrupted andwill be overwritten if i continue, when i went ahead anywasy it tries to get me to redo from the beginning, is there a way to fix this? I've restarted my pc and the application itself so far but I havent redownloaded the game itself because my internet would take ages to download it again
