Since we have 36 people, we’ll organise ourselves into 6 teams of 6, based on the order you signed up. The first person will be on the first team, second on second, you get the idea until the seventh, who will loop around and go on the first team. (Like the II 2 way of deciding teams!)

So, without further ado, here are the teams!

Red Team: Garnet, Dioptase, Glass, Emerald, Pearl and Jasper.

Orange Team: Ivory, Coral, Hematite, Flourite, Topaz and Turquoise.

Yellow Team: Iolite, Gold, Ruby, Ammonite, Pyrite and Benitolite.

Green Team: Sapphire, Lapis, Jade, Malachite, Diamond and Poo.

Blue Team: Peridot, Aquamarine, Opal, Kornerupine, Variscite and Axinite.

Purple Team: Amethyst, Feldspar, Obsidian, Amber, Quartz and Chrysoberyl.

These teams look cool, but they need cooler names! That’s where you guys come in!

What each of you needs to do is to make a name for your team! That isn’t very original though, so there is a twist! If you see a name you like, upvote it! The name with the most upvotes from each team will become the new names! Once that’s done, we’ll average up the upvote totals and the teams with the lowest totals will be up for elimination.
