Are dashcams risky to have in parked cars in SF?

Moving to SF in a few weeks from Denver so l'm accustom to car break-ins, but y'all are wild.

Loud and clearly I receive the message from this group (and beyond) nothing can be in your vehicle, including trash, or you risk a break in. I have a dashcam set up in my vehicle, and am wondering if having that street parked and up could also draw unwanted attention and lead to theft of the device.

Also curious to those with SUVs if having a trunk cover (cargo shade) is helpful, or if that could drive a break in for folks who might be trying to look for items underneath that aren't visible.

Thanks for any input!
