Gk keratin at home
Hi!
I have been doing GK keratin treatment every 4-6 months for the last 5 years, I have naturally curly 3c type hair. I used to straighten my hair for years which made me almost go bald. After 5 years of only keratin and no more straighteners my hair is now thick and to my waist. Its still not straight so I have to blowdry it with a roundbrush after the shower (which I dont mind). My 3c curls are now more like a 3b/3a type of curl which i like to wear during summer. However because i get keratin done every 4 months because of my new growth my hairdresser has to do it on all of my hair which makes my ends straight. I suggested only doing the newgrown tops but she told me she couldnt do that with GK keratin.
I am now thinking of buying the keratin treatment and getting the newgrowth done myself at home as I would get my desired results and save money because Keratin at the salon costs me about 400usd which is too expensive for me.
I am used to hair and think I can do a good job at home, however I want to make sure that it's okay to only do the new grown tops with GK keratin at home. Do you guys know the answer to that? I'm planning on getting my last salon keratin treatment and then buy the products and only do touch up on my own at home on my super curly roots.
Has anybody done this before or have experties in this area? Any suggestions would help.
