I still take my 8yo into the women's bathroom with me
Okay, before y'all judge, I lived in California years ago and that's where my son was born. I heard a story of a little boy being "taken advantage of" in the men's bathroom, and swore up and down that will never be mine. I try not to be over protective, but when it comes to SA, idk if there's such thing.
He's getting older, and I've seen stares from people, but I still can't fathom letting him going into the men's bathroom alone when we're out and there are no single toilet bathrooms available.
At what age did y'all let your sons go to the men's bathroom alone? I'm really considering like 10 or 11 but I know that would make women/girls feel uncomfortable 😭 I try to make sure he goes before we leave, but when he has to go, he HAS to GO.
Obviously if his dad was with us, I'd have him go in with him always, but I'm hoping y'all can tell that that's not the case, especially since we're not together lol.
TIA!
