2025 has been shit so far

I have not caught a break since January 1st this year. Way way worse than last year and I was not short on hours last year. The consistent working weekends and late nights every single night are really getting to me. This is the first time I’ve ever really been able to see that I need to make an exit. I legit have no free time. Every hour of my day has to be planned out for maximum productivity if I want to work out, cook my own meals and other basic things. I’m a 3rd year in finance—in house folks, help me out. What was the most helpful thing you did during your search and what kind of offers should I look out for coming from finance (do people mostly leave to banks?) I had rose colored glasses on when I started biglaw and thought I would last longer but at this point, I think 4th will be my time to leave.
