Bill’s argument of the bottom teams being watchable

Edit: I stand corrected and am humbled by everyone’s breakdown! Thank you for insight and I need to watch more cause I’m obviously a novice! Thanks for giving me storylines and narratives and players to watch!

He was arguing today’s league is FAR better than before (I agree), but he said the bottom teams this year, Portland, Utah, Charlotte, Washington, New Orleans Toronto, are better than bad teams before “Portland has guys spring led all over that can drop 35”

Those teams are TRULY awful. His argument is garbage on this. It’s pathetic how bad those teams are actually and they are NOT watchable at all. Any thoughts?
