Why does The Bloat gets so much hate?

Look i get it. All of his abilities restrict your movement quite a lot and it can be hard to keep track of everything if you haven't fought him before but when you get to a safe spot there's really nothing he can do as long as you watch out for the eyes? He's so predictable and even if you're not above him you can still shoot him, so really what's up with all the hate and everyone calling him the strongest boss? Do y'all just have that big of a skill issue? Am i missing something? I think if any boss should be hated for their difficulty it's Monstro II (the pink variant) because it's basically The Bloat but a lot faster
