Recipe recommendations

What recipes would you recommend from the channel for a Christmas dinner?

7 people (including myself) are going to be at Christmas dinner. I am planning on making the Daily Show Deep Dish pizza but I would like one more recipe recommendation for the Christmas dinner and at least one or two recipes for dessert. I am moderately experienced in cooking however I will have experienced assistance with me.
