Blender stopped autosaving

At some point last night, blender stopped autosaving.

- I have the settings set correctly, and didn't change them

- The folder has not changed

- The folder is empty

- I have not added any add-ons

This is a "fix or I have to uninstall and pirate 3DS max" level fail on Blender's part so any help would be EXTREMELY appreciated here, any advice would be great.
