Doctor Oblivious of high BP

To preface I (16 F) have been getting slightly elevated BP readings for the past year. Recently I was at an appointment and it was read as 142/94, so we waited, checked again, waited, checked again, and no change. This was not my pediatrician, and I was told that my BP was concerning and to make an appointment. I did. I just had it this morning and my doctor said it was only "mildly elevated" (yes it has been checked over multiple days, still high) She said just give me a call if it gets to like 190/130 then thats high. If I have researched correctly that's more than "just high" It's a hypertensive crisis. Am I overreacting that my doctor doesn't believe my BP is high? Should I seek a second opinion?
