What is it about 8 (circle)?

I’m not sure why I was surprised that the sub landed on 8 (circle) as BI’s best song, but I was. 8 (circle) is also my holy grail, but it’s always been difficult for me to articulate why. There are BI songs with arguably more profound lyrics, but I’m standing in your street now, and I carry his guitar still knocks me out, and I can’t explain it. There are obviously many more ways to compare, but I want to know — what is it about this song for you?
