Continuing with my hot takes

It's very funny to me when everyone hates me for having opinions other than "Charley is perfect in any way and anyone who even remotely criticizes his music is a fake fan and doesn't belong here"

Anyways there are a lot of similarities between Charley and Jojo Siwa. Yeah, I actually do 100% believe that.

Here's my reasoning: Jojo made music that was directed toward a younger audience. So did BoyWithUke. Obviously, that's been changing for s little while (songs like sick of u and idgaf come to mind), and his audience never was quite as young as Jojo, but younger people made up a large chunk of his fanbase (I was 13 when I became a fan, so I absolutely fit that stereotype)

Then Jojo decided she couldn't be this kid's artist anymore and her music very much took a turn and she's "edgy" and "adult" now. What did BoyWithUke do? The same thing, on a less drastic scale. Burnout is full of much edgier songs than before, with outright mentions of sex and drugs (I mean, parts of Can You Feel It is literally describing how he sees the world when he's on shrooms LMAO) that were present, but not prominent before now. And when asked about the rebranding and all of that in interviews, he's literally said that he couldn't keep being that kind of artist, writing songs about being a teenager with a crush and all of that.

...also this is completely subjective but both Jojo's and Charley's music got worse after their switchup in music. I don't think Jojo's music was ever good just bc your options are music geared toward 7 year olds or "I like the way you grind on my bean" but I would much rather listen to boomerang or whatever other music she had over whatever it is she's doing now. And same with BoyWithUke. I would much rather listen to his older albums that Burnout.

TLDR: there are similarities between BoyWithUke's and Jojo Siwa's music careers in terms of their audience and music content.
