Dealing With Fear of Reaccurance

Hi everyone.

Speaking on behalf of my wife (F31) as she doesn't use reddit but we are both struggling with this - I wanted to ask people how they deal reaccurance fears, specifically distant reaccurance.

With her permission I can say she is Stage 2a and 2b IDC and ILC both ++-. Surgery had clear margins and we begin chemo next week with the usual treatments to follow. Being grade 2 & 3 we also struggle also because we know those are more aggressive.

Anyway, any advice is appreciated. We are trying everything to stay on top of this mentally (therapy, open communication, anti anxiety medication) but it just feels like reaccurance is inevitable which I know sounds silly.
