Radiation

Starting radiation tomorrow. I’ve had all my planning, etc. I get told today that radiation will not only be coming in from the front (breast/arm pit area) but it will also be coming in from the upper back area too. Wait….i thought it only came from the front so not to hit major organs? I asked RO and she said yes, it will hit the top part of my lungs coming in from the back. I’m so confused. I didn’t think they wanted that!! Does anyone know more info about this? This is a thing?? I’m freaking out now.
