Should I buy a 2k monitor?

I often hear that if you have a 4070 Super you have to play at 1440p, but I play blissfully at 1080p with great satisfaction.

You can see the characteristics of my monitor below.

I play very close to the monitor, no more than 65 cm away. (25 inches or 2 feet for Americans or British).

If I were to buy a 2k monitor I would have to upgrade to a 27’, but it would probably be too big for my desk, or rather I would have to move my chair away from the desk, which is a bit uncomfortable.

Anyway, I don't want to have blinders on and if someone can give me some good reasons I might consider buying a new monitor, 2k.
