How would you stretch $1,000 for a gaming setup?

Building a gaming setup on a $1,000 budget, and I’m stuck figuring out priorities.

Here’s the breakdown so far: GPU and CPU take the bulk of the budget, so there’s not a ton left for the rest. The real question is, what makes the biggest impact without breaking the bank?

For example:

• Is a high-refresh monitor worth splurging on for gaming?
• Should we look at peripherals that improve comfort or multitasking?
• Any must-haves people usually overlook on a first build?

Desk space is pretty tight, and multitasking (gaming + Discord/streams) is a priority. What’s the best bang-for-the-buck upgrade?
