Remove a wraith prism

Yo so I just got a new cooler and I’m going to remove my wraith prism, my new cooler no longer requires the mounting bracket that prism uses so I was wondering if to remove the wraith prism I can just unscrew the mounting bracket and it’ll come off like that because when I was installing this cooler the latches were super annoying to get on so I’m thinking removing it will be a pain too and just wanna save myself the trouble
