Can I propagate this bad boy?

Hi friends! I have what google feels me is a silver torch cactus (idk, I just buy cactus off the vibes). Anyway, she’s thriving but getting a bit unstable in her current living situation. Can I cut the top half or third off and propagate a new plant or would she be better off with a support pole instead? I live in an apartment with a balcony, but it snows here so she can’t really move outside. Appreciate the help!
