Does anyone else feel uncomfortable with how quickly Piper moved on? [toa]

Okay so my friends all sat down and talked about the tv series that's about to come out and one of the topics that we spoke about was what would we fix or change about and that brought back the old conversation of Piper.

Piper at the end of TOA moved on and started dating a girl named Shel but it's not the fact that's she's dating a girl that makes me feel uncomfortable it's the fact that she is DATING that makes me feel a little uncomfortable so soon after Jason's death.

In real time between books it was two years but in books it was just a few weeks ago prior according to the in book characters.

I know a few weeks is more than enough time to move on from a relationship but Jason died, when I was younger my uncle's then girlfriend died in a car crash and it took him over a year to get over it and they were only dating for four months.

Is anyone else uncomfortable about this fact, cause I am and I know they broke up prior to Jason's death but they still had over a year of history and for quite a long time they did love each other.

I might just be me but what do you guys think, also do you think Piper was at all justified with the way she treated Jason in the Burning Maze or was it too much.

PS. Would you guys change anything from the upcoming books in the tv series?
