Upgrade Advice

I currently have a Canon Rebel T7 with a kit lens EF-S 18-55mm and a 50mm f/1.8. I started about a year ago and do it mostly as a hobby shooting for wellness events, family events, and want to start doing couples/family portraits and eventually engagement/elopement shoots (not interested in weddings). I’m serious about making this a part time job so I’m wondering if I should go all in and invest at once in body and lens that will get me my money’s worth or get a slight upgrade in body and use my current lenses. I’m eyeing the R6 Mark II but because of the price, I’m nervous to take the leap if I were to not get that many clients in the future. I want better auto focus, faster shooting since my style is more candid/documentary style and lots of movement rather than still posed photos, and lastly better in low light. Any recommendations for body and lenses and advice is really appreciated!
